£409M STRIKE FORCE SO HUNGRY TO GRAB GOALS

-

CELTIC beware, Paris Saint-Germain have racked up 16 goals from their first two friendlies with their star-studded attacking trio of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Mauro Icardi showing a real appetite to get on the scoresheet. Here, Sportsmail examines the superstar strikers that will line up against the Scottish champions tomorrow.

KYLIAN MBAPPE

Still just 21, Mbappe has flourished in Paris since his £166million move from Monaco in 2017. He lit up the 2018 World Cup with a spellbinding exhibition of speed and skill as France won the tournament for the first time since 1998. The trophies and the goals have continued to flow for Mbappe in Paris, with the young forward playing his part in three successive Ligue 1 triumphs since arriving in 2017. He has scored twice so far in pre-season.

NEYMAR

The Brazilian remains the most expensive footballer in the world after his £198m transfer from Barcelona in 2017. As he showed with his pass-penalty against Beveren, the 28-year-old remains fond of a bit of showboating and has already claimed three goals in pre-season. He has previous with Celtic, clashing with defender Anthony Ralston in a Champions League tie between the sides in September 2017, although there will be no reunion as Ralston has been left out of the squad that travelled to France.

MAURO ICARDI

The lesser known of PSG’s attacking trident, Argentinian striker Icardi joined from Inter Milan for £45m earlier this year after a successful loan spell. The penalty-box predator scored 12 goals last season as PSG claimed the French title and has scored three times in pre-season. Icardi is married to Argentine media personality Wanda Nara, who was previously married to Maxi Lopez, Icardi’s former Sampdoria team-mate. Lopez split with Nara after her relationship with Icardi was exposed. Lopez has refused to shake hands with Icardi whenever their paths have crossed since.
