Breathtaking cheek! Bottles of fresh AIR for sale...for £25

- By Sam Walker

THERE are a few things Scotland does not lack – rain and fresh air being at the top of the list.

Now a luggage firm is hoping to cash in on the latter as it markets bottles of ‘fresh Scottish air’.

My Baggage, based in Belfast, said its range is aimed at expats longing for a whiff of home. The bottles, priced £25 each, include scents from each of the four UK nations.

The product from north of the Border, pictured, is described as ‘100 per cent pure Scottish breeze’.

Other fragrances claim to smell like an English village green, Wales’s Snowdonia and even the London Underground.

Each 500ml bottle comes with a cork stopper to allow the scent to remain for ‘many weeks’.

Paul Stewart, founder of My Baggage, said: ‘We’re sure there’ll be a lot of demand. We’ve had an order for Scottish air from someone in Australia.’
