Good news at last!

THE wonderful news about the Oxford vaccine has given the country a lift. This was much needed to keep us going for a few more months until we can feel safe once more.

We owe so much to those who have worked hard to make this possible, none more so than those who volunteered to take part in the trials. They deserve a special medal presented by a member of the Royal Family.

HEARING about the effective Oxford vaccine for Covid, I felt the same sense of euphoria I did as a teenager on VE day. We knew the war was not over, but it was the beginning of the end.
