CORSIE HOPES SCOTS CAN MAKE IT A TREBLE

-

SCOTLAND captain Rachel Corsie is hoping to add to the feelgood factor for the Tartan Army by taking a giant step towards qualification for another major finals against Portugal tonight. Corsie and Co are aiming for a hat-trick of successive tournaments after making the 2017 Euros and the 2019 World Cup. The Scots are at a critical stage in their qualifying campaign for the 2022 Euros, sitting third in Group E, a point behind Portugal and four adrift of leaders Finland, who they face on Tuesday. But Corsie insists confidence is high. She said: ‘That expectation is one we all share and it comes from the fact that we’ve qualified for the last two tournaments. Having experienced that, you want that again and again.’
