Bonnie Banks take a bow in moonlight
HE wanted a shot of the northern lights, but photographer Simon McDonagh found a bit of ‘magic’ in a moonbow over Loch Lomond instead.
The 44-year-old divisional manager, from Glasgow, said: ‘I was out looking to capture the Aurora Borealis, however it was really cloudy and they were not showing through.
‘Then I noticed the arc as the rain began to fall and it got brighter and brighter. I was mesmerised by it. It looked so beautiful over the dark loch.
‘After such a terrible year it was just a little bit of magic.’
