St Lucia

A REGISTRATI­ON form must be completed before flying ( stlucia.org) and proof provided of a negative PCR test taken no less than seven days before travel. British tourists must stay at a government­approved property and can only leave their hotel on approved excursions and to visit certified restaurant­s. Passengers will be screened on arrival.

Barbados

AN EMBARKATIO­N/disembarka­tion card must be obtained via travelform.gov.bb 24 hours before departure, which requires proof of a negative test no more than three days before arrival. Travellers are screened, then quarantine­d at government-approved accommodat­ion and monitored for seven days. After a second PCR test they are free from quarantine ( visitbarba­dos.org).

Grenada

TRAVELLERS must apply for a ‘Pure Safe Travel Certificat­e’ from travelauth.health. gov.gd at least seven days before arrival and have proof of a negative test taken within 72 hours. A contact tracing app must be downloaded and travellers must have a reservatio­n at government­approved accommodat­ion ( covid19.gov. gd/ accommodat­ions) . Arrivals to Grenada (pictured) will remain in quarantine until they take a second PCR test on day four.

Cuba

A £27 Cuban Tourism Card must be purchased before departure from cubavisa. uk. Tourists must show proof of travel insurance with cover for Covid-19 and will be tested on arrival. TUI is running packages to coastal resort Varadero.

Turks & Caicos

PRE-TRAVEL authorisat­ion must be obtained via travelauth­orisation. turksandca­icostouris­m. com. This requires a negative test taken less than five days prior to arrival, proof of health/ travel insurance with Covid-19 cover and a health questionna­ire. However, there are currently no direct flights.

Aruba

TUI resumed package holidays to Aruba on Wednesday. Tourists must apply for an embarkatio­n/disembarka­tion card online before arrival ( edcardarub­a.aw). This requires evidence of a negative test result within 72 hours of departure, the purchase of Aruba’s Covid-19 insurance and health screening on arrival.

Bahamas

THERE are no direct flights from the UK, but BA plans to resume its service in February. Tourists must fill out a Travel Health Visa ( travel. gov. bs), which requires evidence of a negative test no more than five days prior to arrival.
