WOULD LIKE

TO MEET

A WOMAN who is healthy, naturally beautiful and totally down to earth.

DATING PAST

THE longest relationship I’ve had was 18 months which ended two years ago. I prefer meeting women in real life. On the apps, women are either too serious or not serious enough. As a postman, my job is sociable so I do naturally meet people from all walks of life. Also, I do concentrate on my health so anyone I date has to be healthy, too.

PRE-DATE NERVES?

WHEN I casually mentioned to a friend I was having a virtual date, he advised me to think of some interesting back-up questions in case it wasn’t going well. But I’m used to video chats. It’s how I keep in touch with my sister and 18-month-old nephew.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS?

WHEN I saw the top half of jenny on screen, it was clear she’s a pretty girl. She’s naturally attractive.

I remarked on jenny’s green eyes which are my favourite eye colour. Her smile was nice, particularly her lips as they’re plump and without any artificial enhancement. I don’t like fillers.

EASY TO TALK TO?

I made jenny laugh, but at times I wasn’t sure if she was laughing at me or with me. I sat upstairs in my room on my old gaming chair. It rocks back and forth, which made jenny laugh.

We talked about our love of animals. I would have shown her my dogs if they hadn’t been sleeping downstairs.

I’m on a strict diet at the moment, and felt bad when jenny ordered her curry. I didn’t want to leave her in the lurch so joined her by having some rice cakes and dark chocolate.

It was difficult to end the date after two hours.

EMBARRASSING MOMENTS?

No, nothing springs to mind, it went pretty smoothly.

DID SPARKS FLY?

I think so. jenny is moving to a different town and we’re still under lockdown, but if she’s interested in meeting in real life (and I think she is!), I’d love to.

WOULD YOU MEET IN PERSON?

Yes, definitely.

WHAT DO YOU THINK SHE THOUGHT OF YOU?

I don’t think she hid it very well; jenny liked me. The clues were pretty clear to me, her general body language was very open and there were a couple of other hints, too.

WOULD YOUR FAMILY LIKE HER?

Yes, they would. She’s very down to earth and they’d like how we naturally click.
