SCOTT ADKINS and Mario Van Peebles (pictured with Karlee Perez) star as hero and villain in this actioner. Adkins is the former special-ops agent who, when his son is kidnapped, has a lot of shooting to do.
VINTAGE MOTORS Secrets Of The Transport Museum, 8pm, Yesterday
A JAZZY soundtrack enlivens this new series about Surrey’s Brooklands Museum, which is narrated by Sanjeev Bhaskar. We see some great vintage cars roaring round the track, including a Frazer Nash that first raced there in the Thirties.
ENGLISH HERITAGE Treasures Of The AngloSaxons, 9pm, BBC4
WHEN the Normans arrived, much of Anglo-Saxon culture was buried by the invaders’ love of huge buildings. Yet the Saxons’ lack of historical visibility belies their sophistication, as Janina Ramirez reveals in this documentary, which deals with the famed Sutton Hoo treasure.
TORONTO DETECTIVE Frankie Drake Mysteries, 9pm, Alibi
THERE are shake-ups all round for the jazz age private eyes in this season finale, but none match the curveball that’s thrown at Frankie (Lauren Lee Smith), who learns that her father could still be alive. She and her brother set off in search of answers, and find a sinister surprise along the way.
CALIFORNIA CRIME Real Murders Of Orange County, 9pm, C+I
THE first of a chilling new true-crime series that details cases in the well-to-do area of California. The victims are Brad and Andra Sachs, who were shot 15 times in their mansion in 2014, and the investigation looks to their children and business interests for answers. (Sky 156, Virgin 209)
PAINTER PORTRAIT Eye Of The Storm, 10pm, BBC Scotland

POWERFUL DRAMA Lights Up: Pale Sister, 11pm, BBC4
THIS twist on the Greek tragedy Antigone begins a season of plays on the BBC that were stymied by the pandemic. Pale Sister stars Bloodlands’ Lisa Dwan (pictured) as Ismene, the sister of Antigone, who spends this subtle monologue coming to terms with the destruction of her family.
