COMEDY HORROR Wreck, 10pm, BBC3

IN THE first series of this blackly comic horror series, our heroes Jamie and Vivian (Oscar Kennedy and Thaddea Graham, pictured to it all because Nate committed suicide, and the show successful­ly treads that delicate line between tender and funny. As Charlie tries to unpick why on earth his happy-go-lucky pal would kill himself and leave behind a loving wife and daughter, Nate’s ghost regularly pops up. A motormouth with plenty to say, Nate also — crucially and poignantly — never directly answers the question of why he ended his life. In death, as in life, he finds it too hard to talk about how he really feels. with Jodie Tyack, centre) uncovered a twisted corporate conspiracy on board a cruise ship. For series two, they’re back on dry land — at a ‘wellness’ festival in Slovenia — fighting to expose the truth while many of their fellow cruise workers took the hush money and went on with their lives. This show doesn’t offer anything new in its conspiracy and quest-for-truth plot, but has an inclusive, youthful energy. The full series is available on BBC iPlayer from 6am this morning.
