Spain 2 Scotland 0... Oct 12, 2 2023 (Euro qualifier) With the scores locked at 0-0, Scott McTominay lashed home a terrific free-kick, only for it to be ruled out by VAR. Spain then scored two late goals to break Scottish hearts.

Hampden was absolutely bouncing as Scotland and Norway battled out a six-goal thriller. After a brilliant campaign, no one was too worried about going five games without a win.
