Dahling, how VERY Saltburn!

Aristocrats and A-listers descend on Scots isle’s stately home for night of martini-drenched decadence as Lady Lola celebrates 25th birthday

WITH its star-studded guest list, gourmet menu and spectacular fireworks display, it could perhaps have been mistaken for scenes from hit film Saltburn.

But this lavish bash at the weekend was in fact the 25th birthday party of Scots aristocrat Lady Lola Bute.

During the event on the Isle of Bute, reminiscent of the decadent upper-class party that forms the climax of Saltburn, lobster, oysters and local beef were served to the well-heeled guests.

Lady Lola, who is the daughter of the late John Crichton-Stuart, 7th Marquess of Bute, and fashion designer Serena Bute, hosted the plush party at her family seat Mount Stuart House.

A host of A-listers, including Sienna Miller, Charlotte Tilbury and Poppy Delevingne enjoyed a weekend-long shindig.

Guests danced in the 19th century Gothic revival dining hall and stayed in sumptuous bedrooms. Princess Olympia of Greece and Lady Mary Charteris mixed with members of the Guinness family, who downed IrnBru during a festival-themed daytime party before switching to more sophisticated dirty martini cocktails with blacktie attire at night.

Film star Ms Miller’s £3,900 silk-mesh dress was created by fellow guest Annie Doble and featured hand-beaded crystals in the shape of a cobweb.

The designer also produced a custommade mini dress in a 1920s Egyptian fabric for Lady Lola herself.

The home of the Marquess of Bute, a title now held by Lola’s brother John, dates back to 1157, although the present manor was built in the 1870s.

The Category A listed house got a makeover for the party, with giant inflatable mushrooms and teepees set up.

Lady Mary, daughter of the 13th Earl of Wemyss, performed DJ duties, as Lady Lola danced with her boyfriend Parker van Noord, a Dutch model.

Lady Lola founded the addiction charity Eternity Movement, which has raised more than £1.2million since 2020. She had been outspoken about her decision to quit alcohol before her father’s death in 2021.
