I always get a warm welcome here. Roisin and I went to catering college together many moons ago in Donegal. Matt and Roisin never miss a service as it’s only the two of them in the kitchen. Ivan and I bring the staff here a couple of times a year. We always order popcorn chicken, duck tongue, salt and chilli frog legs, spicy tofu. My tip is to order from the Asian menu, not the English. 0141 332 1639

Last but certainly not least, John and Lynn's small but perfectly formed seafood Mecca in Finnieston put the area on the map long before it became the trendy hub it is today. One of Glasgow's most vibrant restaurants, they specialise in fresh seafood from the West Coast and islands.
