THE ISLAY WOOLLEN MILL

The Islay Wollen Mill was first established in 1883. Today they offer products including tweeds for shooting estates, caps, throws and scarves in wool and pure cashmere, and an exclusive range of handbags. Over the years they have made tweeds for many Hollywood films, including Forrest Gump and Braveheart. The mill is run using the original machinery, some dating back over 100 years.
