KING OF THE SKIES

The South of Scotland Golden Eagle project has been awarded funding of over £1.3 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund. At present there are less than four pairs of golden eagles in the south of Scotland, however a supporting project study has shown that there is suitable habitat for between ten and 16 breeding pairs. www.goldeneaglessouthofscotland.co.uk
