Set in 153 acres of magnificent rural Perthshire, yet easily accessible from anywhere in the UK including Edinburgh and Glasgow international airports, Strathallan is an outstanding place to learn. They have invested heavily in their estate to create a superb campus with excellent academic, sports, residential and recreational facilities. The school has also made the most of the outstanding countryside on their doorstep; they have sports fields, a golf course, a trout-stocked pond with canoe slalom training area and many fascinating places to play and explore. They are the only school in Scotland with a clay pigeon shooting range.

Where learning comes to life

As well as achieving exceptional academic standards, Strathallan fosters a lifelong enjoyment of learning. The school recruits highly committed teachers who live on campus with their families and are heavily involved in activities outside of the classroom.

This has profound educational benefits. The bonds built up on the sports field, in the theatre or in music flourish in the classroom and it’s no surprise that many of the school’s pupils move on to top universities like Oxford, Cambridge and Edinburgh.

Where everyone’s involved in the life of the school

More than 60% of Strathallan’s pupils are boarders. This ensures that the school bustles with activity all day, every day. This is also an advantage for day pupils and their parents. The school offers them the flexibility to stay well into the evening and to be fully involved in the myriad of activities available on campus.

Where Scotland meets the world

Strathallan has a great blend of local, national and international pupils. The school welcomes diversity and celebrates the different interests and cultures that their international pupils bring.

Where talent turns to achievement

In sport and the arts, Strathallan has a strong track record for talent development. All pupils take part in an extensive range of sports and physical education and the school also runs a comprehensive programme to help elite athletes make the most of their sporting careers. In recent years, Strathallan pupils have enjoyed international representation in over twenty sports. Their 1st XV is the current U18 Scottish Rugby Schools’ Cup Champions.

Where belonging is forever

Strathallan provides an exceptional educational experience for children aged nine to 18. It’s a school where effort is rewarded and where pupils are given the time and encouragement to grow into capable, confident young men and women who are ready for the challenges that lie ahead.
