Situated on Elm Row in the heart of Edinburgh new town area, this will be store number nine and the first time Rimmers Music have ventured into Scotland with a physical store.

With the promise of fabulous opening offers this could be an excellent opportunity to get the piano and keyboard you have always dreamed of playing.

I was very impressed when I visited this store for a sneak preview as it boasts one of the biggest selections of musical instruments I have ever seen, all displayed to perfection. The staff at the store will give you unparalleled service and explain the ranges with excellent knowledge, and consideration.

The store has huge displays of Yamaha pianos and keyboards with associated accessories. This includes the whole range of Yamaha Clavinovas, such as the CLP and CVP ranges, as well as YDP models from the Yamaha Arius range. In addition to the extensive range of digital pianos and keyboards from Yamaha, they also stock a number of upright and grand pianos in the store, including the best-selling upright piano in the world, the Yamaha B1. Prices range from just £369.99 to over £100, 000.

Gary Explains: “We have the entire range of Yamaha digital pianos and keyboards on display and a range of acoustic grand and upright pianos. This is the only store in the whole of Scotland were you can see such a range in one location.”

Retailing both new and used equipment, catering for beginners and professional musicians, Rimmers Music has a reputation for offering competitive prices (always with long guarantees for peace of mind) and excellent part exchange prices. They also buy old instruments to recycle and sell enabling customers get a refurbished bargain.

Yamaha Specialist Richard Bower tells me: “We price check daily to ensure we give all our customers the best deal possible. If you find a better deal than we offer we would be very surprised and like to hear about it. We also offer 0% interest free credit on all purchases of £250.00 or over. We aim to make the musical instrument you want affordable and easy to purchase.”

Offering all customers a Free Lesson in their Rimmers Music School (located conveniently above the store), they teach daily until 8.00pm. Currently piano, keyboard, guitar and music theory tuition are available.
