The walled garden is filled with a wide variety of herbaceous plants and shrubs as well as some beautiful flowers. THE CASTLE AND GARDENS OF MEY Mey KW14 8XH

The beautiful gardens and gorgeous z-plan Barrogill Castle were bought, renovated and restored by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in 1952. The romantic and unique gardens serve as a reminder that as long as you have a vision and enough energy you can create and maintain a garden, even in the most unlikely of locations and no matter how daunting the weather. This stunning walled garden incorporat­es a nursery garden centre and offers an incredible variety of plants both growing and for sale. The grounds include an amazing woodland walk and a gorgeous spring garden. There are rhododendr­ons, azaleas and some particular­ly unusual herbaceous plants.
