CAIRNGORMS’ ANGELS
A Speyside single cask whisky has been launched to support environmental and community projects in the Cairngorms National Park. A donation from each bottle of Angels’ Nectar Cairngorms Edition will be made to the Cairngorms Trust to help wildlife conservation, outdoor recreation and cultural heritage. Only 263 bottles of the 11-year-old single cask whisky – which was distilled within the national park – will go on sale, costing £68. It is described as having a sweet nose with hints of demerara sugar and gingerbread, leading to dried tropical fruit and marzipan on the palate. www.angelsnectar.co.uk
