DB4 LURE ROD

The DB4 is a general-purpose lure rod, which doubles as a light boat rod when targeting plaice on the drift or bream at anchor, plus a whole host of other applications.

Dave has used it to catch bass to 8lb on weighted lures, but it’s also ideal for casting hard and soft plastics from the shore.

“The DB4 has a medium/fast action for casting, with a progressive amount of power as the tip filters down through the butt section for when you need that little extra lifting power,” said Dave.

Rated for lures between 10g and 40g, Dave is currently working on a DB5, which will be rated at 20g-60g (hopefully, available for the autumn).

It comes supplied in a two-section rod bag.
