Blue Anchor to Minehead, Somerset, 54 anglers In what proved to be a tough match, a single codling from Blue Anchor beach secured the £200 first prize for England ladies international Rachel Jarman, of Weston-superMare SAC.

Ian Davies, from South Wales, caught a dogfish and codling from Minehead town beach to finish second, with James Madsen, of Channel Anglers, third thanks to two pouting and a pollack.
