BAIT PRESENTATION

It was Keith Veness, of Eastbourne, East Sussex, who wanted some advice on bait presentation when using such small hooks on the Urfe rig.

My answer is to use a baiting needle. These are great little tools to help using worms that can be a pain to get on small hooks. In my opinion, the Stonfo branded baiting needles are the best because they are a finer diameter and will not damage any delicate baits such as harbour rag.

If you want to use fish baits, simply hook a fingernail-sized piece of fish once through the top.
