Q: I’m always experimenting and trying new ideas that may improve my shore fishing. Have you ever used a swimfeeder when sea fishing?

PF says: I’ve never personally used a swimfeeder when shore fishing, but, I do know some lads who have.
They can be particularly effective when targeting flounders, bream, garfish and mullet. Filled with chopped fish and worms, they can soon attract many species to your baited rig.
There was a lead weight (called a D-Vice) on the market a few years back with a tube attached, which worked in pretty much the same way.
