PF says: I always advise people who are venturing to a new beach mark, to check it at low tide. It’s always a good idea to have an image in your mind what you’re fishing over at high tide.

You can also locate potential hazards and snags that may lead to tackle losses. Features like rocks, gullies and mussel beds are all good fish-holding areas, and by finding these, you increase your chances of success.
