Catch a specimen fish to earn a badge and a chance of winning quality Shimano tackle

The Coronavirus pandemic has undoubtedly affected every single one of us. Once Government restrictions kicked in, back in March, we suddenly found ourselves living in unprecedented times. Being confined to our homes, with a minimum amount of time to venture outside except for a little exercise and to shop for essentials in an attempt to prevent the deadly virus from spreading, put a halt to all of our fishing. Now it is deemed safe to do so in England, it will good to see fishing activity from the shore and afloat – albeit taking into account social distancing. It also means you can attempt to catch those fish from our target list and earn a badge.

Yes, don’t forget, Sea Angler is still offering you the chance to claim your Mission specimen badges along with the chance to win some fantastic tackle from Shimano. Prizes are awarded for the best shore and boat specimen caught, and all entries will receive a specified species sew-on cloth badge. It’s free to enter and many of your great catches will be published on our Shimano Mission pages. Simply check the rules, eligible species list and the target weight you need.
