Sea Angler’s celebration of the great angling achievements of its younger readers
Kian Nicholson, 12, from Clitheroe, used frozen black lug tipped with Bluey and caught two plaice at Morecambe, Lancs. His dad Phil also caught a 9lb thornback ray.

aged six, fished with her dad on the River Stour in Suffolk, and caught her first bass of the year. The young angler, from Ipswich, used freshly dug lugworms for bait.
Myles Hodgson, from Sunderland in Tyne and Wear, loves his shore fishing, but the sixyear-old decided to do some inshore fishing afloat with his dad. Using a variety of tactics, he enjoyed a great day catching codling as well as this pollack.
