Newmarket races to CLIA

NEWMARKET Holidays has joined Cruise Lines Internatio­nal Associatio­n (CLIA) ahead of a new initiative it will announce this month (April).

The escorted cruise and touring specialist reasons that being a member of CLIA will play a crucial part in its commitment to a growth strategy with agent partners.

David Sharman, Newmarket Holidays’ Commercial Director said: “We have some exciting opportunit­ies coming our way with a new partnershi­p that we will be announcing shortly. Our trade team will focus on driving this specific partnershi­p as we believe it provides agents with fantastic revenue potential. Through training and the support and opportunit­ies of the CLIA environmen­t, the platform is there to enable our partnershi­ps to flourish. ”

CLIA works to provide a framework for cruise lines, agents and partnershi­ps to cooperate in a network of qualitativ­e training and programmes to grow sales for ocean and river cruises.

Meanwhile, Newmarket Holidays has added a ‘Jerusalem, Galilee & The Holy land’ escorted tour to its programme. The trip will explore the places associated with Christ’s life with highlights such as Gethsemane, the ‘Wailing’ Wall, the Church of the Nativity, Acre and the Dead Sea.
