Peter says: “From my location this target is fairly low to the west during March, so only between two and three hours of imaging was possible each night before trees and a streetlight started to interfere. I’m really pleased with the resulting image as it shows a lot more detail than my previous broadband attempt and I think this one creates a very brooding atmosphere.”

Equipment: Atik 383L+ mono CCD camera Officina Stellare Hiper 115 apo refractor, Sky-Watcher EQ8 Pro equatorial mount.
