Application for former Tummies site
This week’s public notices contain application for a new restaurant at the former Tummies restaurant site in Cippenham, as well as a proposed notice for a new controlled parking area.
There are also several road closures in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
Licensing
Applications have been submitted to open a new restaurant and a supermarket in Station Road, Cippenham.
Chor Bazaar Restaurant Ltd has applied for a premises licence at 7 and 9 Station Road, to be called Chor Bazaar Restaurant.
Chor Bazaar has also applied to sell alcohol between the hours of noon and 1am, Monday to Sunday, and to play recorded music from 6am until 1am during the over the same dates.
The Station Road site in Cippenham is the former base of Tummies restaurant, which closed in 2023.
Separately, Chor Bazaar Supermarket Ltd has applied for a premises licence at 3 Station Road to permit a supermarket called Chor Bazaar Supermarkets.
It has too applied for a late-night alcohol licence between the hours of 6am until 1am, Monday to Sunday.
Any person wishing to object to the applications should do so in writing to Licensing at Slough Borough Council, or online.
The deadline for objections is April 12.
Parking
Slough Borough Council has given notice that it proposed to create a new N parking zone is set to be imposed for Vale Grove and Winvale in Slough.
Changes to restrictions on Albert Street, New Square, Slough Road and Windsor Road would also come into force in addition to a new limited waiting bay one way system in Windsor Road.
The changes would see resident parking places introduced as well as waiting restrictions at all times.
Waiting and loading restrictions will also come into force at all times.

Road closures
The Royal Borough has given notice that a section of Crimp Hill is set to close to traffic from the entrance to Bears Rail Park to the entrance to Woodside Farm.
The notice advises closure is necessary to allow work on a new water connection facility which could otherwise represent a danger to the public.
The closure is set to come into force from 8am on April 3 to 6pm on April 5.
Notice has also been given of the closure of Clewer Fields to allow the installation of a new fibre optic duct.
The closure will affect Clewer Fields between its junction at Alma Road to the rear of 14 Bexley Street, between 9am and 3pm from April 16 until April 22.
