Estate agent launches its support for Ty Hafan

CARDIFF’S leading independent estate agent, Moginie James, has announced Ty Hafan as its charity of the year by releasing 1,000 balloons across the city.

The initial launch took place in Roath Park with Moginie James managing director Nick James and Emma Sankey from the children’s charity.

The eco-friendly balloons lit up the sky over Cardiff and also formed part of Moginie James’ celebrations after being named the number one estate agent in Cardiff and Wales.

Eagle-eyed residents may also have spotted giant 5ft balloons located at landmark spots around Cardiff including Cardiff Bay, Pontcanna Fields and the Principality Stadium.

Throughout the year, the staff at Moginie James’ offices in Roath, Cyncoed, Pontcanna and Cardiff Gate Business Park will be organising fundraising activities for Ty Hafan, which provides palliative care to life-limited children and their families throughout Wales.

Nick has promised to match whatever funds are raised throughout the year.

Nick, who established the company 15 years ago, said: “Ty Hafan is an amazing charity that provides indispensable support to families when they need it most. We have a host of fundraising activities already planned which the whole team is keen to get involved in.”
