LOOK WHO’S BEEN IN COURT

The following cases were heard at Cardiff Magistrate­s’ Court:

Anthony Stanley, 61, from Severn Avenue in Barry, was fined £220 for speeding. He was driving on Waycock Road when he exceeded the 40mph limit. He received three points on his licence and was ordered to pay £30 to victim services, plus £85 costs.

Karen Roberts, 55, from Turbervill­e Street in Tonypandy, was fined £297 for for driving without insurance. She was driving at junction 38 of the M4 at the time. She received six points and was ordered to pay £30 to victim services and £85 costs.

Anthony James Willis, 31, from Heol Y Clun in Beddau, Pontypridd, was fined £100 for speeding. He was driving on North Road when he exceeded the 30mph limit. He received three points on his licence and was ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge, plus £85 costs.

Zachery Taylor, 22, from Mullins Avenue in Rumney, Cardiff, was fined £230 for driving without insurance. He was driving on Windsor Road at the time of the offence. He received six points on his licence and was ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge, plus £85 costs.
