Lineker to host TV coverage – and you can even go virtual!

-

JUVENTUS versus Real Madrid kicks off at the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff at 7.45pm tonight.

You can, of course, follow live updates from the big game on WalesOnline, while BT Sport hold the exclusive live rights to Champions League football until at least 2021, but they have elected to make the Cardiff clash free to view even if you do not have a subscription.

You can watch via btsport.com, the BT Sport app, YouTube and on the BT Sport Showcase HD television channel.

Former England and Spurs star Gary Lineker will host the coverage and he will be joined by Champions League winners Rio Ferdinand, Steven Gerrard, Steve McManaman and Owen Hargreaves.

For the first time ever, the Champions League final will be shown in 360° virtual reality, with streams available on YouTube and the BT Sport Virtual Reality app.

Fans will be able to choose between a 360° show with commentary and graphics or select their own camera angle.

The big news for Welsh fans is that Gareth Bale has been included in the 25-man Real Madrid squad, having not played since picking up a calf injury in the “El Clasico” defeat to Barcelona at the end of April.

However, the home favourite may not start as Isco has taken advantage of his injury absence to put together a fine run of form which has seen him score five goals in eight games.
