Store offers £3,000 reward after thieves stole toothbrushes
BURGLARS stole boxes of electric toothbrushes from a high street retailer in just 30 seconds.
Now Home Bargains is offering a £3,000 reward for information.
A box of electric toothbrushes worth £400 was stolen from the store on Newport Road in Cardiff just after midnight on Thursday.
Police believe that attempts will be made to sell on the toothbrushes locally.
The store manager said the burglary was so quick there wasn’t even time for the alarm to go off.
He said: “They knew exactly how to get in and exactly what they were going for.
“They broke in through a window and were in and out very quickly.”
South Wales Police confirmed that a burglary took place at the Home Bargains store on Newport Road in the very early hours of September 7.
A police spokesman said: “Boxes of Oral B Pro 2000 electric toothbrushes were stolen from within the store after a rock was used to smash a bottom panel window.
“An investigation to identify who was responsible has been launched by officers.”
The police spokesman added that CCTV force.
