STELLA Sky1, 9pm

SAD times for anyone who has followed this comedy drama from the beginning. Tonight is the last ever episode.

This has had a good run since 2012, gaining a loyal following from those who love the big characters, soap-like drama and well-timed comic relief.

The baby of Ruth Jones, she sends it off in style – for her character, it’s Stella’s graduation day, but she’s not in the mood to celebrate. There’s the arrival of an old friend, Auntie Brenda is borderline hysterical when she meets her biological father, and love is in the air for Nadine.

And everything comes to a head at Stella’s graduation party. Just as the fun begins, some news is sprung on them that could change their lives forever. Well it is a farewell episode, so expect to shed a tear or two.
