WEDDINGS It was just love at first sight for Codie and Ceri

The couple: Codie and Ceri Rowley. Codie, 25, is a childminder from Pontyclun, and Ceri, 36, is a bricklayer from Llanharry.

The couple now live together in Llanharry. The venue: The wedding took place at Canada Lodge, Creigiau, on September 29. How they met: Codie and Ceri met in Cardiff on a night out in 2010.

Codie said: “As soon as we saw each other it was love at first sight.

“We fell for each other instantly and spent every day together.

“Having our son, Reuben, then made us fall in love all over again in 2014.” The proposal: Ceri proposed in May 2016. The couple took their little one to Gran Canaria for his first holiday.

Ceri popped the question on the beach as the sun was setting.

Codie said it was “magical”. The wedding: Codie said: “It was such a beautiful sunny day.

“The venue looked absolutely gorgeous with its beautiful fishing lake and fountain.

“As I walked down the aisle to Bruno Mars’ Just The Way You Are it was a feeling we both had never felt before.

“The look on his face was astonishing as he couldn’t believe how beautiful I looked in my dress.”

The ceremony was followed by a photo session with photographer Mark Jessey. Codie said he captured the most breathtaking photos of the couple, and they will always treasure them.

After a lovely photoshoot the couple danced the night away with guests at the evening party.

The couple said the day was “perfect” and they couldn’t have asked for a more magical day. The honeymoon: Codie and Ceri jetted off to Marmaris in October.

They said it was a beautiful place to start their journey together as husband and wife and the weather was glorious.

Codie said: “We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, taking late-night walks to the beach front and enjoying lots of beautiful food.

“It was a lovely honeymoon and, even though our little boy was with us, it was nice to celebrate as a family.

“We are now all officially Rowleys,” she added.
