CAPPANANTY CON has been in fine form in recent weeks and he can defy a career-high mark of 80 to win the Bet totetrifecta At Betfred.com Handicap at Chelmsford.

He has been raised 3lb for that success but appears to still have a little in the locker and is definitely one for the shortlist here.

Winds Of Fire put up no kind of show on his racecourse bow but should be given another chance in the Weatherbys General Stud Book Online EBF Maiden Stakes.

That was a decent effort on his first start since being well beaten in a Grade Two heat back in February and a 9lb hike in the ratings reflects the value of that performance.

War Sound was no match for Brain Power at Kempton last time but should find the toteexacta Novices’ Chase at Towcester an easier test.
