TIME is running out for those hoping to challenge themselves at the 2018 Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay Run – Wales’ fastest-growing 10K race – with entries closing soon!

Taking place on Sunday, March 25, the race is set in the heart of Cardiff’s historic bay, with a route that takes in all of Cardiff Bay’s most iconic landmarks including the Roald Dahl Plass, Wales Millennium Centre, Mermaid Quay, the Pierhead Building, Senedd, Porth Teigr and the Cardiff Bay Barrage.

Entries, which start from £22 and include a technical event t-shirt and finishers medal, are set to close on Sunday, February 25, or when they sell out – whichever comes first. Runners are urged to register now to avoid disappoint­ment.

Welsh water brand Brecon Carreg, which keeps runners hydrated at road races across Wales has extended its support by becoming title sponsor – all part of its 40th anniversar­y celebratio­ns. And it’s not just the 10K people are coming to Cardiff Bay for. Families can get involved in the 2K Family Fun Run, starting out at £5 for individual­s or a discounted £15 for groups of four.

The race village, located in Roald Dahl Plass where runners will start and finish, will offer a whole host of food options, live music and family-friendly entertainm­ent.
