A NEW flight from Cardiff to Egypt will be introduced from November.

Tui has announced the service to the Egyptian town of Hurghada, connecting Welsh customers to resorts on the Red Sea coast.

Departing Cardiff every Monday, flights will take off from November 5.

Hurghada boasts year-round sunshine making it a popular destination for a winter break.

The Red Sea resort is also described as having beautiful beaches and warm weather, perfect for snorkelling and diving.

There are a number of day trip packages available from Hurghada so keen explorers can visit various attractions.

The Sahara desert frames the city, offering opportunities for quad biking and camel riding experiences, while Egypt’s biggest water park is on the town’s doorstep.
