Teaching to become a yoga teacher

-

LIFESTYLE Yoga is an authentic yoga teacher training school led by Rachel Young.

Rachel has been teaching yoga in Singapore and the UK for more than 12 years and practising for over 20 years. She has taught more than 3,500 classroom hours and conducted training courses and workshops.

Lifestyle Yoga has a 100 per cent success rate with graduates, who all go on to teach their own classes or for other studios.

If you are looking to teach yoga or maybe learn a little bit more about yoga and how to improve – or simply how to not feel so awkward in a class – then this course is something to consider.

The specific requirements for the course are:

Some yoga experience to help you along the way;

A good healthy level of fitness as this course is physically and mentally demanding.

Rachel’s 200 hours vinyasa flow course is accredited by Yoga Alliance and Lifestyle Yoga is a registered Yoga School (RYS 200).

The course times are 8am to 2pm every Saturday and Sunday for 10 weeks, followed by a two-part assessment on the weekend after the course finishes.

The courses run two to three times a year in St Mellons, Cardiff. The start dates for the next two courses are July 7 and November 10.

Lifestyle Yoga is also the creator of Lifestyle Yoga mats – these come in four colours in black, red, purple or green.

They are top-quality mats for yoga practice; non-slip, eco-friendly and easy-to-clean at affordable prices with discount for students.

Also, Lifestyle Yoga will be running a two-part workshop at Willowbrook Primary School, on June 25 and June 28, on the mechanics of arm balancing. These workshops run from 7.45pm to 9.15pm and booking is essential.
