Player’s wife contemplates life as a Premier League WAG

-

A CARDIFF City player’s wife had the best response to the team being promoted on the weekend.

While the boys in blue celebrated their leap to the Premier League, Sol Bamba’s wife had a more pressing concern – her upgraded WAG status and the social etiquette concerns that come with it.

Chloë often shares photos of her and her star hubby on Instagram, including a picture of the couple holding the team’s trophy following the game, which was posted with the cheeky caption: “Trophy wifing.”

Taking to Twitter, Chloë joked: “FML. Now I’m a premiership WAG does it mean I’ll have to put make up on to go to Tesco?”

And the reactions to the tweet were just as good.

Several of her followers responded to the tweet by continuing the joke.

One replied: “Tesco? Only M&S for you now.”

Ceri Gravenor replied: “Tesco? Babe you’re in the Waitrose league now.”

There were also a few replies encouraging her to opt for the home delivery service from now on.

Philip Britton Miles said: “Nah, you have it delivered by people like me.”

Another Twitter user suggested that pyjamas are definitely a no-go in the local shop for Chloë from now-on.

But Ade Greenslade thinks she shoud “keep it real” by sticking to places like Lidl and Aldi.

While many were discussing what was the best supermarket option for the “newly-promoted” WAG, perhaps the best tweet came from this guy who pretty much said what we were all thinking.

It read: “This is what you call a Cardiff player’s wife – down to earth.”
