Susanne Sundfør and Novo Amor

Susanne Sundfør, pictured, combines beautiful crafted folk-songs with synth-pop and her latest album Music for People in Trouble is stark and beautiful, often stripped back to Sundfør’s wonderful voice which has an anti-pop tone. Hailing from deep in the Welsh mountains, Novo Amoris’ emotive vocals and the sounds he uses, often formed through sonic experimentation, make for fantastically atmospheric songs that are both moving and striking.
