Police want to find bike seen at scene in murder inquiry
DETECTIVES investigating the alleged murder of a man in Cardiff have appealed for information about an orange bike which was seen in the area at the time of the incident.
Damian John Hill was assaulted in Oakfield Street, Roath, at around 2.10am on Sunday, May 27.
The 39-year-old was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, but died of his injuries.
Detective Chief Inspector Rob Cronick, from the South Wales Police Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “While two people have been charged with Mr Hill’s murder, the investigation is still very much continuing.
“As part of the investigation we would like to trace an orange bike which is seen on CCTV in the area of the incident at the relevant time.
“We need to know where it has been since May 27 and where it is now.”
The bike is described as an orange/red GT mountain bike.

Kalib Steven Facey, 19, and Philomena McDonagh, 33, have been charged with murder and remanded in custody awaiting trial.
They are due to appear in court on July 6 for a plea and trial preparation hearing, while a trial date has been set for November 26 and is expected to last two to three weeks.
