OUR hugely popular Win a Wedding competition is back – and this year we’ve got a fantastic prize worth £15,000 up for grabs.
One lucky couple from south Wales will be getting married at Bryn Meadows Golf Club and Spa with our fantastic wedding package prize.
Each year we give our readers the chance to win an allexpenses-paid-for big day where the dress, flowers, cars, photographer – you name it, it’s covered.
Last year readers collected as many of the Win a Wedding tokens, printed in each day’s South Wales Echo during the competition, as they could.
Emily James and Michael Bendon were the lucky winners, scooping a big day worth £20,000 at the Village Hotel.
Emily, a maintenance company worker, said she and Michael, a selector for a supermarket’s distribution centre, were planning on marrying in 2020 but thanks to the competition their big day surpassed all expectations.
Speaking at the time, she said: “It was fantastic, it all went smoothly and it was a perfect and really amazing day.”
She added: “It was amazing to see everybody turning around to watch me walking down the aisle and seeing all our friends and family cheering and clapping.”
This year the couple who manage to collect the most tokens, with the help of their loved ones, will win.

To enter, couples are invited to register with us by visiting walesonline.co.uk/dreamwedding and filling out the online form for the competition.
Each couple registered before the deadline on July 9 will feature in our Win a Wedding couples supplement, where we’ll publish all their stories and pictures.
Couples will then be able to collect tokens printed in the Echo from July 16 to September 1.
The lucky winners will be the ones that collect the most tokens overall by the end of the competition.
