YOUR PETS Guinness is my world... I’d be lost without her

-

Pet’s name: Guinness. Age: Four. Breed: Pekingese. Owner: Sophie Cardiff. Owner’s story: “I had Guinness about three and a half years ago – for my birthday.

“It was the happiest day ever! We bonded instantly. She ran and hid under my legs. I could tell right then she was going nowhere. She hasn’t changed much and is pretty much the same – i.e. crazy and cute.

“I also have Atkins, a cat. And, no, they don’t get on, but they tolerate each other. Although Guinness does like to chase her out the living room. Amato, 48, from

“Guinness loves belly rubs, walks, mostly whatever I’m eating and sleeping on her back.

“Her hobbies include grunting, slapping me, hiding sausages and rock music.

“Although she dislikes dog food, showers and me leaving her.

“Every day is a happy memory. She makes me laugh every day! Be lost without her.

“The best thing about Guinness is her personality. She’s a huge character. And like me, the love goes both ways.

“If I had to choose a bad thing it would be probably her farts and lack of recall.

“I wouldn’t change her for anything as she’s crazy yet sweet. Funny and feisty.

“She’s my world. So yes, my life has changed a lot since I’ve had her. So much so that I would be lost without her.”
