Upgrades for Isuzu D-Max

-

ISUZU is bringing a touch more sophistication to its workhorse D-Max pick up.

The updated Isuzu D-Max range comes with the latest technology and an enhanced specification including improvements to the interior trim.

A trailer sway control system becomes standard on all 4x4 models. The system uses sensors to detect trailer swing and reduce speed.

If the system detects that the towed trailer is swaying engine torque is reduced and the brakes are applied automatically without any input from the driver.

Suspension on the double cab has been changed from a five piece to a three-piece leaf spring system for improved ride comfort and reduced noise levels. As a result the kerb weight has been reduced by 10kgs resulting in a payload increase of 10kgs.

In the cab, the latest range benefits from updated soft pad designs to the arm rests, binnacle and utility box lid. Gloss black trim has been added to the window switches, air vents and glove box, which also incorporates a new Isuzu D-Max badge. The use of new materials increases the quality, look and feel of all premium models and ensures greater comfort on all journeys and terrains, says the company. Prices for the new range start at £16,799 excluding VAT) for the D-Max 4x2 Single Cab rising to £29,799 plus VAT for the top of the range Blade model with automatic transmission.
