WEDDINGS ‘Stuart was always going to be the one for me’

The couple: Rachel Phillips, community co-ordinator for FareShare Go, originally from Bridgend, and Stuart Crawford, salesman at Swiss Vans, originally from Cardiff. They now live in Kenfig Hill. The venue: The couple married at Fairways Hotel, Porthcawl, on July 27. How they met: October 2014. Rachel said: “We had our first date down in Cardiff Bay and then our second date was at Alton Towers.

“From the moment I met Stuart, he They met online in was always going to be the one for me.” The proposal: Stuart popped the question to Rachel in December 2016. Rachel said: “It was pure joy when Stuart proposed overlookin­g St Catherine’s Fort in Tenby.

“The ring is a square cut Blue Topaz surrounded by diamonds.” The wedding: Rachel said: “The wedding dress was from Wed2B in Cardiff.

“We had a beach theme and a coral colour scheme.

“The bridesmaid dresses were from Quiz, while the groomsmen were clothed by Watkins in Bridgend. “The cake was by Christine Hopkins. “Our first dance was to No Tomorrow by Le Matos.

“I was taken to the wedding by my little sister.

“My highlight of the day was seeing Stuart waiting for me and having some awesome images at Porthcawl harbour.

“Stuart’s highlight was watching me walk down the aisle.” The honeymoon: The couple went to Oxford for their honeymoon.
