Women at war

-

SHARON really should know from bitter experience that no affair stays hidden for long in Walford, but this week she makes the rookie mistake of having a furtive kiss with Keanu in an alleyway, where they could be seen by anyone – including Karen.

Understandably, Karen is not happy that her son is seeing an older woman who happens to be married to Phil Mitchell, and pleads with Sharon to end it – but will she do the right thing?

Karen can’t contain her anger as she accuses Sharon of putting her own interests ahead of Keanu’s safety – she is afraid that her son’s life will be in danger if news of the affair ever reaches Phil.

After all, Sharon has already received anonymous text messages from someone who knows their secret and is threatening them with an ultimatum.

Meanwhile, a chat with Jay leaves Keanu convinced that he knows the identity of the blackmailer. He sets out to trap the guilty party, and finds out he is right.

Elsewhere, Hayley is furious to learn that Kat called social services, and storms off to stay with the Ahmeds – which turns out to be a wise move, as seeing Harley’s mother Chloe’s determination to get her life back on track leaves her wondering if she could also be a good mother. Unfortunately, that’s when Hayley heads back to the Slaters’, where Kat and Jean are about to make everything much worse...

Meanwhile Carmel comes up with a plan to make sure no one forgets Shakil (not that birthday girl Bex needs any reminding) and Dot is upset that Dr Legg is refusing treatment.
