Youngsters are video stars for Ludlow’s Wales

MANAGER Jayne Ludlow enlisted the help of children from across the country to help with the announceme­nt of her latest Wales Women squad.

Wales Women face Portugal in a friendly double-header later this month ahead of their 2021 Women’s Euro qualifying campaign.

And ahead of her latest squad announceme­nt, the Football Associatio­n of Wales contacted 26 children from across the country that had been inspired by the success of Ludlow’s side in their last campaign to help reveal the names of those included for the two clashes with Portugal.

The 96-second video begins with Alana from Caerphilly-based BTM United saying: “Here is

the Wales squad picked to face Portugal.”

Wales face the Portuguese at the Municipal Stadium in Rio Maior on Saturday, November 10 and then again three days later at Cova da Piedade’s Municipal Stadium.
