I HAVE new ceramic non-slip floor tiles in the kitchen and they’re difficult to clean. A steam cleaner works but I can’t get that out every day. Any ideas?

ONCE you have cleaned the tiles, apply Lithofin KF Protective Impregnator. It prevents oils and dirt stains from getting into the tile surface and makes it easier to clean.

MY fruit bowls have gone cloudy from the dishwasher. Is there anything I can do?

ONE old tip for cloudy glass is to soak it in slightly warm white vinegar and scrub with a nylon rag. Worth a try.

got black marks on my lino from a chair with rubber feet. How can I get them off?

A

I USE lighter fluid for such marks. Squirt some on to a cloth and work it into the mark. You will know instantly if it’s going to work, and any residual liquid will evaporate.

I have just had some tongue and groove double gates erected outside – can they be waxed?

I DON’T know of any exterior waxes, so use Osmo Clear Oil Wood Finish. Osmo makes wood stains
