■Parkinson’s Café CF5 is on tomorrow, Wednesday, December 5, 10.30am-12.30pm, at Ely and Caerau Community Hub, Cowbridge Road West, Cardiff CF5 5BQ. People affected by Parkinson’s, their family, carers and friends are welcome. Join for friendship, support, information sharing, coffee, tea, cake or a biscuit, and a laugh. ■Ukulele Nights will provide entertainment at Albany Road Baptist Church on Friday, December 7, at 2pm with seasonal songs. In the lounge at the rear of the church (access via the big car park). Entry is free. A voluntary charity collection will be taken at the end for a charity of their choosing. Tea and coffee provided. All welcome.
■A beginners’ Christmas crochet session is taking place at Llanover Hall on Saturday, December 8, 10am-noon. Cost is £11 including materials. Book online or 029 2087 2030.

■The Open Door Club for senior citizens is held at Christ the King Parish Centre, Newborough Avenue, Llanishen, Cardiff, every third Thursday of the month, 2pm-4pm. Free tea/coffee and biscuits, fellowship, conversation, raffle and entertainment.
