CLAIRE DEARING (Bryce Dallas Howard) oversees operations at dinosaur theme park Jurassic World, while Dr Henry Wu creates terrifying new breeds. Thus the ferocious and highly intelligen­t Indominus Rex is born – and escapes. Claire begs animal behaviour specialist Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) to capture the beast and protect her nephews, Zach and Gray, who are trapped in the middle of the bloodbath. Jurassic World is a muscular, rollicking romp that recaptures some of the adrenaline-pumping thrills we felt when Steven Spielberg first unleashed dinosaurs back into the world.

ABOUT A BOY Tomorrow, ITV, 1.30pm

THIRTYSOME­THING slacker Will (Hugh Grant) invents a child in order to meet single mums. His scheme goes awry when he meets 12-yearold Marcus (Nicholas Hoult), whose mother Fiona (Toni Collette) – all pictured – is battling depression. Grant stretches himself in the role of man/child finally growing up and Hoult is terrific in an early screen role.

THE INTERN Monday, 5STAR, 10.25pm

SEVENTY-YEAR-OLD widower Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) applies for a senior citizen internship at a company founded by workaholic Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway, pictured with De Niro). When her position as CEO is threatened, Ben provides support and teaches his boss that success shouldn’t always come at the expense of personal relationsh­ips.

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM Tuesday, Film4, 4.30pm

LARRY DALEY (Ben Stiller, pictured) is a night security guard at New York City’s Museum of Natural History. As the sun sets, the exhibits magically come to life, pitting Jed (Owen Wilson) and his toy cowboys against Octavius (Steve Coogan) and his legions of inch-high Roman soldiers. A likeable, fast-paced fantasy, energised by an array of special effects.

NEVER BEEN KISSED Wednesday, Film4, 4.45pm

DREW BARRYMORE, pictured, plays a hapless aspiring journalist who goes undercover as a teen in order to expose lif at high school today. Trouble is, she was the most unpopular girl at school first-time around, and looks set to make the same mistakes. Sparks fly between her and a teacher but, unfortunat­ely, her boss wants her to dish some dirt about him.

BILLY BEANE (Brad Pitt) needs more funds for his baseball team, so turns to economist Peter Brand (Jonah Hill, left with Pitt). Together, they compile a list of the most undervalue­d players in the league and bring together this band of misfits as the new squad. Based on an incredible true story, Moneyball is a classic tale of triumph against adversity.

DIRTY DANCING Friday, Channel 5, 10.20pm

THREE decades since Patrick Swayze’s hipswivell­ing hero uttered the immortal line, “Nobody puts Baby in a corner”, the charm and simmering sensuality of Dirty Dancing endures. Jennifer Grey is teenager Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman, who ends up receiving lessons in love as well as lifts from dance instructor Johnny Castle (Swayze, left with Grey).
